Rachel Kerr
Creative Director at Pinelink
Rachel the kind-hearted was, well, kind enough to spare 5 minutes to answer a series of perplexing questions that barely relate to her work.
Rachel, thank you for putting up with me and I’m glad you responded to my 8th message about doing this.
Q. Rachel, who are you and why are you important?
“I am Rachel, the Creative Director of Pinelink, a wife, and a mum.”
Q. What was the funniest moment you experienced at work?
“I don’t think I have one (eeek, sorry). I blame it on my poor memory.”
Q. What about the time you brought that badger into the office? Anyway, would you rather be followed by 10,000 ducks or have 10ft long arms?
“10,000 ducks no question.”
Q. When you’re out walking in Devon, do you come across any cats that have become airborne due to the high wind speeds?
“The numbers are unprecedented.”
Q. In ten words or less, sell me a jet pack designed for toddlers
“Keep your toddler in the air, out of your hair.”
Q. Who would win in a fight, Shrek or Barney the Dinosaur?
“I reckon they’d both be pretty slow moving but Shrek is more used to defending himself, so he’d be my best bet!”
Q. Even with Barney’s haunting shark eyes? Moving on, write a haiku about a selfish goose
“Willows and flowers
Long summer showers and heat
Goslings chasing frogs
I don’t think I’ve written a haiku since school, so apologies for this amateur attempt!!”
That’s probably the nicest haiku about a selfish goose I’ve ever read.
Rachel, you’re a gem, thank you.
