SEO copywriting services
Ah, SEO copywriting.
The art of weaving keywords into copy without it sounding like a geography teacher’s nails across a chalkboard.

What is SEO copywriting?
SEO copywriting is writing words that search engines and humans like.
Both need to work harmoniously to keep everyone happy.
The term ‘this town isn’t big enough for the both of us’ cannot be applied here.
The Town of SEO Copywriting definitely needs to be big enough.
Without optimised copy, you have as much chance of being found as I have to secure a date with Scarlett Johansson.
SEO copywriting is an evergreen investment, but you have to give it time.
As John Heywood once said in his book ‘Proverbes’ in 1546: “Good copy doesn’t rank in a day”.
How does seo copywriting work?
I’ll try and break this down (without interprative dance):
Audience research
Yep, SEO copywriting can help you climb up the ranking positions.
But, if you don’t know who you’re talking to, you might as well be talking to a beige wall.
Working out who your audience is comes first. What they care about, how they speak, what they’re actually looking for.
Because once you understand that, writing something they’ll respond to becomes much easier.
And if your audience is beige walls, fair enough. I’ll improvise.
Keyword research
SEO copy without keyword research is like Thor without his hammer, Starsky without Hutch, and Thelma without Louise.
Technically still there. Just not very effective.
Keyword research is simply finding out what people type into Google when they’re looking for what you offer.
The next step is weaving them into your copy in a way that doesn’t sound jarring or like you’re being bonked on the head with an oar.
It also reveals related searches, questions, and topics your audience cares about.
Which means more chances for the right people to find you.
Monitoring
Once the copy is live, you don’t just pat yourself on the back and wander off.
You watch what happens.
Tracking things like traffic, rankings, and conversions tells you whether the content is actually doing its job.
If something isn’t working, it gets fixed.
If something is working, great. We do more of that.
Monitoring simply makes sure the whole thing keeps moving in the right direction — rather than slowly drifting into the internet abyss.
Do I need an SEO freelance copywriter?
Maybe, if:
- Your website looks nice, but barely anyone finds it.
- You show up on page three of Google. Which is basically the internet’s attic.
- People visit your site but don’t stick around long enough to do anything useful.
- Your pages talk about your business but don’t really say why anyone should care.
- Or your content is stuffed with keywords like someone trying to win a game of SEO bingo.
Good SEO copy fixes that. It helps the right people find you, understand what you offer, and actually take the next step. Which, generally speaking, is the whole point.
Do you copy?
Let’s get to work on optimising and prioritising.
